We have a small Alpaca herd consisting of young weathers supplied by Bozedown Alpacas.

Alpacas are the smaller cousins of the Llama and are native to Peru. There are two types of alpaca, The Huyacca with it's 'teddy bear' appearance and the Suri which has 'dreadlocks'. Alpacas are intelligent animals who are easy to handle once trained. They produce an exquisite fleece which makes an exceptionally lightweight, warm and lustrous yarn.
